Our story
Over the years, sisters Sylvia and Valérie Gilbert, founders of Mindcore Consulting Services, noticed a growing gap between organizations’ strategic ambitions and their ability to bring them to life in practice. As engineers by training and passionate about continuous improvement, they repeatedly observed optimization initiatives failing to deliver lasting results—often due to a lack of structured, human, and rigorous support.
It was in this context that Mindcore Consulting Services was born: an independent Quebec-based firm founded on the belief that sustainable performance relies on team autonomy, process clarity, and solid methodological rigor.

Valérie Gilbert is an industrial engineer and holds a master’s degree in business administration with a specialization in corporate finance. She has been working as a consultant for major organizations for over 20 years. Valérie is the co-founder of Mindcore Consulting Services, whose mission is to implement best management practices among Quebec’s leading contractors. She has frequently supported managers responsible for operations and organizational strategy. The projects she has contributed to have generated gains ranging from $500K to several million dollars each. Her versatility and ability to quickly grasp the context and business challenges of companies, regardless of their field, make her a high-level strategic advisor. Her ambition is to enable her clients to achieve significant, tangible results with every project.

Vice President, Customer Experience
Sylvia Gilbert is an industrial engineer, certified as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt by ASQ and as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt through Ohio University. With over 20 years of experience in quality and process optimization, she now advises executive committees of major Quebec contractors on developing strategic deployment plans for continuous improvement. Before co-founding Mindcore Consulting Services, Sylvia worked within international organizations dedicated to productivity improvement. Throughout her career, she has held various team management positions focused on implementing exemplary operational practices. Today, with an impressive track record in large enterprises, she leverages her extensive professional knowledge for the greatest benefit of her clients.
